Glitch Mob - We Can Make The World Stop

The Glitch Mob really, really enjoy playing festivals. They’re playing a handful of them this year, including a return to Lollapalooza, with whom they’ve partnered up for a combination giveaway and contest. The giveaway part is a free download of the first single from Glitch Mob’s upcoming EP, We Can Make the World Stop. Entitled “Warrior Concerto”, the track is actually structured just like the three-part arrangement in its name. Three distinct movements follow a tense, furious violin through the band’s innovative brand of glitch-hop and breakbeat. It’s a musical ménage that ups the anticipation for the July 12th release of the full EP.

It also stokes the fire leading up to the trio’s performance at Lollapalooza’s 20th anniversary, which brings us to the contest portion of the program. By entering your email to download “Warrior Concerto”, you’ll also be entered to win a grab-bag of Glitch Mob merch – including posters, T-shirts, vinyl, and CDs – plus a pair of 3-day passes to the sold out Lolla. The pièce de résistance is that not only will you get those tickets, but you’ll get a special side-stage view of Glitch Mob’s set on Perry’s Stage on Saturday, August 6th. Ka-boom.

You can hear “Warrior Concerto” using the player below, but we highly suggest heading over to the official contest site to grab it yourself. Not only is it a wicked hot track, but that prize is just the tits. The contest closes July 8th, so get in while the getting’s good.
