Questlove Two-Night Takeover @ The Social

Jimmy Fallon is in town this week with his Tonight Show, which means Orlando music lovers once again get to witness Questlove spin his signature mix of Motown, Soul, and Hip-Hop here at The Social! Questlove, along with rapper/vocalist Black Thought, formed The Roots as a teenager growing up in Philly, but over the last thirty years, he has become one of the most recognized names in music. Those unfamiliar with The Roots’ extensive catalog should start with 1999’s Things Fall Apart. “You Got Me,” featuring the iconic Erykah Badu, earned the band its first Grammy award.

Recently, the multi-talented producer has worked on the cast-album for Broadway’s smash Hamilton and released his third book, Something To Food About: Exploring Creativity with Innovative Chefs. He‘s performed with Jay Z, Stevie Wonder, and Fiona Apple, DJ’ed at this year’s Golden Globes and even played Donna’s estranged brother on Parks and Rec. Is there anything Questlove can’t do?

Come watch the phenom flood the dance floor as Phat n Jazzy Presents: Questlove, April 4th and 5th at The Social. Single-night tickets are available for $25-30 dollars, or be sure not to miss a beat with a double-night pass for only $45. Available here:
